Co chairs David Houston and Tom McDonald had a site meeting mid April with Mr David Sinclair (the new CEC Road Safety Manager) to pursue ColCC’s proposals to deal with:
- the dangers at Bridge Road junction
- general speeding through the Village.
The Transport and Environment Committee (TEC) met on April 25 and the proposed 2024-25 Road Safety Plan did include our project on the basis of consulting with Col CC on the best solution.
Mr Sinclair also encouraged us to make a written deputation to TEC, which ColCC did, and this is available HERE:
Various funding options are also being explored, and we will update on any developments.
